It is because that the natural condition, sea water, ect there are suitable to producing high quality breeding for the whole area. Now, many enterprises want to invest to produce aquaculture breed there. Phu Quoc is one of breed center of the whole country which is planned according to the Government. He also suggested Kien Giang apply intensive farming with clean technique with rice, vegetable, fruit and fisheries to increase product value and sustantiality of agriculture development.

In the trip to Kien Giang, the Minsiter Cao Duc Phat went to Nong Nghiep 8A Cooperative, some agriculture models in Dong Thanh Ward (Tan Hiep District), Tac Cau Port in Binh An Ward (Chau Thanh District). The Minister appreciated the model of cooperation, multi-intensive farming, mechamization, which help decrease price, increase product’s quality. Tac Cau is seen as the most effective port in 10 planned fish ports in the country. The Minister suggested the province giving the plan of expanding the port soon to be allocated capital, satisfying the need of producing, doing business of fishermen and enterprises.
